After growing bored of harvesting torment from its own digital wasteland, the Spectre sought a new way to feast on agony: by splitting one of its captured souls into hundreds upon hundreds of small, shredded fragments so that they could all be put into different (albeit similar) physical vessels. These bodies were then given to those willing to inflict pain for its own gain.
Rumor has it that, under the Spectre’s influence, holding onto one of these little guys lets you siphon their luck—as long as they remain in your grasp.
