Somewhere between the calm surface of the ocean and the chaotic depths of data, Amir the Diver was born. Powered by hope, optimism, and a bottomless inbox, he has spent the past three plus years diving nonstop, hand in hand with our community, to pull thousands of gamers out of rough waters and back onto dry land.

But now something unexpected has happened.

He’s been transformed into a plushie.

A real, officially endorsed, totally legal, does not infringe on Dave the Diver IP plushie, thanks to our friends at MINTROCKET. Our entire community has been proudly branded in a Dave the Diver theme across all our homes and hubs, and we are deeply grateful to the MINTROCKET team for the kindness, support, and love they have always shown us. That appreciation is mutual, and this project is one way we hope to honor that relationship.

This is an independent project. The campaign page will include a disclaimer explaining that the character is inspired by DAVE THE DIVER, that MINTROCKET has officially endorsed it, and that it does not violate or infringe on any MINTROCKET IP.

Here’s what matters:

• Makeship is covering all production costs.
• Nobody from our community is taking a penny.
• MINTROCKET is not taking a penny.
• 100% of all profits will go directly to Gold Star Gamers, a charity bringing gaming experiences to families who have lost parents in the US military.

This plushie is also made with gratitude to our community’s Head of Art & Design, Desiree Rincon, whose artwork and creative direction shaped Amir the Diver from day one. Her efforts have been the soul of our community’s image and brand, and none of this would exist without her.

Now we need you.

This little diver needs 200 supporters to surface. A $2 petition pledge helps bring Amir the Diver to life. If we reach 200 supporters or more, Makeship will begin work on creating a single prototype plush. At that point, a new campaign page will be posted showing the actual plush you will receive, and your $2 pledge will apply toward the deposit for purchasing the final plush, priced at $29.99.
